While most configuration options have been made available in resin.conf, this section describes some common command-line options.

Resin uses a tag-based xml configuration file, usually as resin.conf, for declaring all available options. In addition, Resin supports EL variables, expressions and control structures.

Environment tags - database, classloader, resource, bean, and IoC

<resin> - top-level configuration container

<cluster> - clustering, caching, load-balancing, and distributed sessions

<server> - threading, keepalive, timeout, and jvm arguments

Port tags - HTTP, SSL, addresses and ports

<host> - virtual hosts

<web-app> - servlet and filter configuration

<database> - connection pool and database driver configuration

Session tags - servlet sessions

Rewrite tags - URL rewriting, dispatching, and load-balancing

Service tags - web service configuration

Log tags - access log, java.util.logging, and stdout

EL variables and functions - configuration variables

Control tags - if, choose, set, etc
