Syntactic Structure

This section assumes a basic familiarity with both the Systemic formalism and the WAG Knowledge representation language, specifically, how to use the tell and tell* functions, an understanding of Ilex type hierarchies (system networks), and the terms: unit, role, etc. Please refer to the WAG KRL Manualgif for more details.

The syntactic structure of units in Ilex is at 4 ranks (levels): clause-complex, clause, group (nominal, adjectival, adverbial) and word. This section will describe each in turn.
